Papas is a sweet boy that loves his person. He bonds quickly and would be happiest if it was just himself and his human. Snuggling, playing fetch with his ball or favorite stuffed toy, car rides, and going for walks are some of Papas' favorite activites. Papas is a runner so a fenced yard is recommended. Papas has done alright with other dachshunds but would be just fine as an only dog getting all the attention. He needs a quieter less active home because he is reactive with strangers and needs time and patients to trust new people. Papas is also a barker so apartments, etc - shared walls are not recommended. Papas does well with housetraining if keep on a schedule. He is crate trained too. At night he can sleep in a crate, dog bed or even the Big Bed. 

Papas is neutered and up to date on vaccines - Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. His fecal and HW test was negative for parasites.
