Nova is a timid 5 year old beauty. She came to rescue as a breeder release so has limited experience as a pet. Because Nova is timid and unsure of new environments she requires a fenced yard with an adult only or adults with teenagers forever family. Nova does bond very strongly with her humans loving to snuggle with them. Since Nova can scare easily so a fenced yard is required. Like many dachshunds Nova loves running, exploring, playing and basking in the sun outdoors. Nova does well with other small dogs. We are looking for a forever home with another young calm well socialized dog that can help Nova become more confident. Housetraining is a work in progress but with a fenced yard, a set routine and frequent potty stops she is doing well. At night Nova LOVES to sleep in the Big Bed.

Nova is spayed and up to date on vaccines - Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. she also had a dental with 3 extractions.

If you have a quieter home with adults only or adults with teenagers and a well socialized calm small dog are home more than gone you might be the perfect home for Nova.
