Sweetheart Club

Melody is a shy, sweet, senior cuddle bug loving to be with her human. She gets along well with the other small dogs in the house but doesn’t play with them. She came to rescue as a breeder release with limited exposure to humans, world experiences or life as a beloved family member.

 She would do best with an adult only or adults with teenagers or older. She prefers low activity and noise levels. With consistency and a schedule housetraining is going well. She enjoys exploring the fenced back yard and also does well on short daily walks. 

At night she sleeps in the Big Bed; she can be restless at first, but once settled in she is set for the night. A fence with no slats a dachshund can get out is needed.

Melody is spay, had a dental and up to date on vaccines.  Melody went to an eye specialist as her left eye is cloudy.  It was detremine that it is age related changes. She can see out of it.  She will need to be on Saline solution drops for the rest of her life.
