Please meet Franny (a 4-year-old black and tan, 14 lbs) and Farrah (a 9-year-old red smooth, 18 lbs), a wonderful bonded pair.

They came into rescue due to the passing of their senior owner. After assessing their behavior, we have the following observations:

- Farrah is the more confident of the two. She prefers sleeping or being crated with Franny rather than being kept behind a baby gate. She walks well on a leash and harness, loves exploring the yard, has good recall, and is housetrained.

- Franny loves to be as close to you as possible. She will not walk on a leash or harness at this time, so a fenced-in yard is required. She needs to be persuaded or carried to the grass to potty and requires extra time to do her business.

- General Behavior: Both dogs get along well with the resident dachshunds and simply ignore them. Their compatibility with cats is unknown. They would do best in a quieter environment with older children (aged 10 and above).
- Health: Neither dog has any known medical issues. Both girls should lose a couple pounds!
