Meet Frankie, a 4 year old smooth red who came to MWDR with 23 bladder stones. These were immediately removed with surgery, and now all Frankie needs is special prescription food, Royal Canin Urinary SO for life, to prevent the stones from returning. He loves this food, and is doing great! He is up to date on shots, and was also neutered at the time of his surgery. He is Heartworm negative as well! Microchipped. 

A must for Frankie is another young(  not alpha) dog he can be buddies with and follow,  and a fenced yard where he can run and explore. He would like someone home more than not, he is all about his people! He is  fine with going potty in the yard, and has never marked in the house.  

He  loves walks, and is  a great passenger in the car. Frankie is a big bed guy, and loves to burrow under the covers and snuggle with his person. He is a great sleeper and wakes up to "good morning" with big yawns and stretches! He'll sit on the couch, watch TV, loves to look out the window  and play in the yard. He has a BIG bark, so no shared walls! At his foster home, he loves the females, but is leery of males. We are working  on this.

Frankie is a playful, curious lovebug who is just waiting for his forever snuggler!
