Update: Foster George needs a secured fenced yard (one with no slats a dachshund can get out of and no invisible fences)  He needs a YOUNG playful dog. He is in the crazy puppy stage and wants some one to play with!  If you will be going on vacation soon, please do not apply until you are back.  If you work 8-9 hours a day, he is not the one for you. 

Are you looking for a super extra playful puppy? Meet "Curious" George, a 6.5 month old tail wagger who instantly loves everyone he meets! George is neutered and up to date on vaccines

George has a special talent of jumping quite high, which we are currently trying to discourage. George wants to follow rules because he loves his training rewards, and as a result, he has learned to sit for his treat when he comes in after doing his business in the yard. If kept on a basic schedule he is almost completely potty trained. 

He walks great with a harness and leash, and also really loves zooming around freely in the fenced yard. When resting, he will lay in his bed, or snuggle on someone's lap. He sleeps in the big bed at night. His bark is big if he hears an unfamiliar noise, so no shared walls probably best. 

In the car he lays quietly, most likely because he seems to have motion sickness. As long as he's not fed before the ride, he won't be sick. George has to have another young energetic dog friend to play and wrestle with, and kids over 8, just because of his jumping. 

He is crate trained  if I need to leave as he can jump out of the x pen. Being careful with open doors a must, he loves to run and hasn't been trained to come back when called.  

George is super smart, highly trainable and  will melt your heart after a week when he follows you everywhere! "Curious" George will be a great companion for the right adopter!
