Meet Charlie – Your New Best Friend!

Charlie is an adorable 11-year-old Dachshund with a heart as big as his personality. He is incredibly loving, friendly, and very smart, and his favorite place in the world is right by your side. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will greet you with the cutest wiggles, a wagging tail and endless affection, Charlie is ready to fill that role.

Charlie loves going for walks and is wonderful on a leash.  He’s equally happy cuddling on the couch after a nice stroll. He gets along beautifully with both dogs and most cats, but he’d also be perfectly happy as your one and only pet, soaking up all the love and attention.

Charlie is currently working on gaining a little weight and is doing well. He’s also making progress with his house training.  For now, he wears a belly band indoors while he continues to learn and settle into a routine.

Because Charlie has separation anxiety, he will thrive in a home where someone is home most of the time. A retired person, someone who works from home, or a family with a flexible schedule would be an ideal match.
