Calliie is a smart, sweet and loving girl! She was an owner surrender due to a medical issue they could not afford to treat.  She had bladder stones and needed surgery.  Surgery and a dental have been done and her vet said she is ready to look for a great forever home. She most likely is a dachshund mix. 

Callie would be fine as an only dog or with another small passive dog.  She does not interact a lot with the two resident dachshunds but she is fine with them.  She loves to watch TV in the evening with foster mom on the couch. She does not give kisses but rather just looks adorningly at her foster mom. She loves to go for walks. Car rides are ok, she is a little nervous in the car.  

At night she sleeps behind a baby gate in a dog bed and likes to be wrapped up in a blanket. 

She is an all around great girl. We are looking for some one that works from home or is retired.  

Callie gets very excited when she has to go potty so you need to watch her signals.
