Bailee is a sweet friendly 7 year old sable longhair beauty. She came to rescue as a Breeder release therefore life as a beloved family member/pet is new to her. Although Bailee adapts to new environments quickly she is skittish. Bailee befriends everyone and is a gentle sweet girl. Even though Bailee likes everyone we recommend that she be in a less active - quieter home ... adults only or adults with teenagers. Young children with their quick movement and loud voices bewilder her. Bailee is fine with other dachshunds or small dogs. Her best forever home would have a small easy going well socialized dog that would help her learn what is like to be part of a family. Bailee is doing well on housetraining ... set up a schedule and be consistent. Since Bailee is skittish on a leash having a fenced yard will make housetraining much more consistent and easiler. At night Bailee sleeps in the BigBed. Bailee is spayed and up to date on vaccines - Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. Her fecal and HW test were negative for parasites. Bailee also had a dental with 5 extractions.
