Lucy
Hi! My name is Lucy and I found my forever home in January 2004. At first when my mom
came to get me I was REALLY scared. In fact, I cried all the way home.
Once I got there, mom and I snuggled up on the floor to take a nap. She used the blanket
that Claudia and Martha had sent home with us. The next thing
I knew I was getting sniffed down by these two characters who turned out to
be my big brother Woodstock and my big sister Peanut. I was pretty scared
then, but now we have made peace.
Peanut is the queen of the home; however, I do try and take over from time to time.
Mom also has a cat, but I see her as a moving stuffed animal -- what fun! Woodstock
and I are the best of friends. We spend hours each day stealing toys from one
another, playing chase around the house, and most importantly time curled
together sleeping.
My favorite game with Woodstock is tug-of-war with the tennis ball. We can go at it
for hours, but mom always busts in and makes us stop when it is time for bed.
I would be mad, except then I get to curl up under the covers in the big bed
with my big brother.
I am still scared sometimes of other people, but mom is going to take me to some classes
soon, which should help with that. Thank you to MWDR for
finding me a great forever home. I just want to know when mom is getting another one?
Regards,
Lucy (a.k.a. Lady Lucy Lou)
