Samson

Adopted April 3rd, 2005

Hi, my name is Samson. I found my forever home on April 3rd 2006. I was an abused/ neglected lil guy until I found my way to MWDR. I was fostered by this great family, who had kids, a doxie of their own; Stretch and another foster who was looking for a forever home like I was, her name was Scout. When my mom came in to meet me and take me to my forever home, I was hesitant at first. I was nervous and scared to meet her and go with her at first because I was just getting real comfortable with my foster family and friends. Once mom got me in the car, I settled on her lap in the passengers seat and stared out the window ready for the long drive home. My new mom assured me and petted me the whole hour and a half ride home that she was going to make a very special new life for me. I knew then that things were going to be good.

When I got to my new home, I was greeted by my 3 new siblings Rayla, Rosko and Gizmo. At first they weren't very sure of me, but it has all worked very nicely. Rosko and I are best buds. We play, wrestle and share a bed together during the day while mom is at work. It is so great to have company all the time, because I never had any. I am a spoiled, lucky lil guy. Mom takes me for walks at the park before her softball games, where I am the official team mascot. I also get to go for walks with my buddy Rosko. I get to go on trips, fishing, car rides, sleep in the big bed and best of all, I have a huge fenced in yard where we all get to explore and play around.

Life has turned out very well for me. My mom and siblings love me so much and are so happy to have me in the family; they didn't know what they ever did without me. My mom spoils me rotten. I am very grateful and thankful for MWDR. Thank you to MWDR and my foster family who took such good care of me. (Stretch, I miss you man). If it wasn't for them God knows where I would be, or how I would still be getting treated. I went from not a good situation, to a perfect, loving forever home. I could never thank you enough.

Samson, Jenni, Rayla, Rosko and Gizmo Klein

PS- I am glad mom could type this for me, I am sitting by her feet curled up. I hope there are many other success stories of others to come!
